What is web hosting?

Web hosting is the technology that gets your Web site online. It's one of the three required items you'll need to establish yourself on the Web: a domain name, a Web site, and a Web host. Your domain name tells people where to find you, your Web site is viewed by your visitors, and hosting makes your site part of the Internet. Quite simply, Web hosting is an online storage service for any content displayed or accessed through your Web site; common examples of stored information include images, video, or design templates.

There must have yearly/monthly fee to have your site accessible on the Internet and web server. We can provide web hosting for our clients.

What is a domain name?

A domain name is a specific web site address and you can register the required domain with us(domain names ending in .com, .edu, .gov, .in, .net, .org, etc. ). Our domain name is "". You can have all-numeric domain name. You can use the characters a-z and 0-9 and hyphens (-) but your domain name cannot start or end with a hyphen. Any other character or punctuation should not be used. We can register a same domain name with different extension, ie can also register as, etc.

What is a URL?

It stands for "universal resource locator". This is the address typed in the web browser to view your web page on the Internet. For example, you would type in to access our home page.

How much does a web site cost?

There are quite a few factors that could affect the ultimate cost of your web site. These factors include number of pages you are going to build, if you will sell products on your website, the graphic & animation work involved, and other functionalities. You will also need web hosting and domain name registration.

What type of content do I put on my site?

That would depend on the goals of your web site. If you run a business website you would include as much information about your products or services that your customers would need to purchase from you.

What is the difference between a “static” and a “dynamic” site?

A static site is one that is written in HTML only. Each page is a separate document and there is no database/web server interation.

A dynamic site is written using more complex code and can do a lot more. For instance, I can make an area where you can search in and update various parts of the site, such as adding information or products. This is because each page is constructed based on the information in a database, and the information in that database can be changed by the user without the help of a web developer.

What is the benefit in search engine optimization and web promotion?

How long should I wait to see the results of SEO?

Once your site has been submitted to the top Search Engines they may require several weeks, or even months to actually spider and list your web site in their directory. How fast your site is listed depends on each individual Search Engines database update schedule.

Can I request changes after I approve the web design draft?

Yes, minor changes which take less than an hour work are done at free-of-cost, but any work that takes more hours will be charged separately as these changes may affect all the current web pages and functionality.
